Title: Can you fit 20\'s on an FD?????????????????????
Post by: tguillemin on August 23, 2009, 09:44:48 PM
HI everyone

Was thinking of getting a set of 20\'s for shows and pictures, just wondered if anyone had any thoughts, past experience or just general input as to whether they would fit without any arch mods, offsets and things like that?

:xconfused

Look forward to input.
Regards
Tobias

19\'s are possible but can ruin handling. A lot of people don\'t go past 18\'s !

i dont follow this 19" mess up handling thing.  been in petes on 19" and couldnt tell differnece really between them and the 18" on mine  unless im poop
agreed 20" look too big though.
19" imo is the best size for photos and show.
18 best alround
17 best for  track and strip ( 17 " i think is best for function)

If its done well then it will work but that will be with ultralight weight wheels.

I\'ve never been past 17\'s but I had 19\'s on the FTO (yes it was a long time ago) and it did tram line more but didn\'t ruin handling.

20\'s would just look out of place. There is probably more people doing it on rx7club !
