Noticed this pop up on ebay last night, so emailed the guy for his number to discuss it with him.
Spoke a little bit about rx7s etc then i said, well you have got it for £499 but your open to offers, what sort of money will you take for me turning up at yours tomorow with cash.
He says well make me an offer, though im not gonna except a couple of hundred quid for it.
So i offer £350(best to start low and work your way up) he says no hes looking more £450-475.
Eventually i agree to 470 including the steering wheel hes selling.
He says well he has to speak to another bloke who said he would match any offer he gets(this bloke must think im thick and never been in sales!)
Asks me what my top line is, i say £480 for both and no more but i need to know tonight to get £250 out of the cash machine and the rest tomorrow (ie max i can take out per day)
So he does the usual pretend call and calls me back about 20mins later, says SOLD to you mate.
I say ok, we agree on a time for me to come and fetch them(11am)
So i pop up into town to get the 250
This morning i call my brother and if he would like to come as he only works part time and it will be good to hangout, so i pick him up and go to the cash machine to get another 250 out.
Put £20 of fuel in my rx7 to get me there and back and set off.
I just get off the motorway 10mins from his house and i get a call from him.
Im nice and jolly on the phone saying ill be there in 10mins etc and he says hes had another offer from someone else.
I say well youve sold it to me last night, we agreed a price and its a done deal.
Says hes been offered 500 for the power fc and 50 for the wheel.
What a complete ......, so im arguing down the phone saying you gave me your word as sold, ive paid for fuel to get here and now you want more money!
I explained i didnt have anymore money as ive only got £480 he said well sorry mate i need to money so tough!
Then put the phone down on me and turned his phone off!!
So be warned not to buy from this guy! He will only fook u about for more money.
I was so tempted to just get to his and drag him out of his house by his balls and kick the crap out of him, im 6ft3 and my brother is 6ft so we can handle ourselves well but then i realised apart from making myself feel a little better it will prob only end up with the police turning up and us getting in trouble.

he only put it on ebay last night, thought i had to be quick as pfcs seem to sell the same day on here and fduk

Some thing like this once happened to me, what i do now is once the deal is done and time agreed i let my Answer phone pick up (as driving) and Turn up at there house regardless, its not happened since so i guess its harder for people to do that sort of thing when your face to face with them, makes it more personal.
Things too remember, if you do Smack them, not in the face and no witnesses ;) Only kidding...
I would of continued round there and finalised the agreement in one way or another,and its still on ebay... so he was having you on which would of got to me even more!

I wouldn\'t normally go on record as to say to avoid someone...but this guy is a total idiot!
Turbo Toaster....he didn\'t give you the correct postcode...he admitted this to me last night....he started off, which was very worrying, by saying that he had been let down by the person who had offered him the £500 which he let you down over.
He kept telling me he wished he hadn\'t advertised the item...and has been besieged by people. But his people skills are less than to be desired!!
He wasn\'t at all sorry for the messing around, he is just interested in making some money on the ECU...and thought it was funny! I would even question whether this ECU exists?? As why would you give a false address when knowing someone was coming to pick up an item???

i know he will have sold it but was a nice message to get as im always a fan karma......he must have thought i was daft if i was gonna buy anything off him after the stunt he pulled!!

People have a habbit of screwing others over saying one price then trying to get more and coming out with bull .... stories! We all experience it at somepoint in life just makes you realize how low those people are especially when stabbing people in the back is a surefire way to get people to bring to the public what a robbing nasty scumbag they really are!!!
