Im at the point now where i need to purchase a fuel system and e.c.u to match up with a to4s single, mild exhaust port overwise standard fd engine.i want to stay just under 400powers and 13psi .
heres the list i have so far ,if anything you think is .... or not needed or needed i would appreciate your guidance and the best place to buy

my list so far
044 fuel pump
hard wire fuel pump
f.p.r i have a sard one which is rising rate but dosnt have a pressure gauge.
swirl pot for tank
leave the 550\'s stock and go 1680\'s secondry or could i go smaller ?
uprate fuel lines to a bigger size

for that power no need to uprate fuel lines and 1000cc secondaries wiould be fine. I ran just over 500 with this set up

Yep i\'m with Ed on this one too, why replace something twice? The 1680 injectors wont cost thats much more to be honest and you\'ll still need the rail anyway, so might aswell do it one go to save later... KG Parts for the kit :)

Can\'t fault Jon at Atomicrex and this is the place you need to get the 044 from, very very helpful chap indeed, and i\'m sure he\'ll be able to sort you out a few other bits too :)

Im with Lee on this.

I run 550 bhp on 1000cc injectors with loads of duty left.

People say the 1000cc injectors have a better flow pattern than the 1680cc, but others will say they prefer 1680.

But for more power you will need to upgrade the secondary fuel rail either way

I was gonna say that too but hey lol.... I looked at a website on injector flowing and the 1000\'s have better spray pattern yeah.  All depends what your goal is really at the end of the day.... A lot of people dont like 1680\'s but then there are lots that run them.  After all blitzboy runs 4 of them :)

depending on what your using the car for i wouldnt put 1000cc injectors in the primamries when using a PFC.....you wont be able to get the idle area lean enough.....on a drag car (like blitz it doesnt matter)...also if you have a Fcon or motec...you can run 1000 on primary as they have separate idle maps and better resolution than the PFC.

Is this for an FC or an FD? the FC fuel lines are good for about 500-600bhp, if you are going for a FPR then you will need to go with a parallel fuel setup:

http://www.fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/FUEL/fsystem.htm

Keep the primaries stock, and uprate the secondaries :)

As what Ed has said. Keep the primaries as 550cc and upgrade the secondaries. 850cc can be used but sometimes they are hard to map on a PFC

Thanks chaps : stock primary and 1000cc secondaries would i still have to go for a larger fuel hose ?
also was thinking of buying a fuel cooler,i saw one on a range rover sport today that looks good for the job but would using a 044 pump heat the fuel ?

Na dont bother, stock lines will be fine. I run roughly the same as what you want

850cc primaries
1000cc secondaries
044 Pump
Swirl pot
All braided fuel lines

If you are looking at a swirl pot, then consider our tank set up...its a lot better than having a swirl pot in the rear of the car, and it will work a lot better too!

Safer, no smells, and works better.

We will have our new fuel rails by the end of the month too...and our own range of injectors too
