hey.
One of my brakelight bulbs is out...looking for a replacement, Halfords maybe..anybody know the part number??
Next question is how do you get into the bulb?It\'s a 1999 rear light spec...haven\'t looked yet but i reckon some advice sought first would be helpful.
Cheers.
Marc
hey, i got my ca back with no brake lights:eek: i had a look and err gave up after 10mins, so i\'d like to know too.
turns out its probably a connection at the ecu:confused:
rik(no help as usual:D)
Open boot. Theres a couple of bolts that need to be removed, pretty obvious looking and then the light cluster will push out away from the car.
Pretty straightforward really. No idea on bulb part number. I always just match bulbs up on look!

Take the bulb out and in small writing it will have the correct wattage on the side and just match look (for fitment) and watts rating up and you are sorted. Dont know for sure but it will probably be a double filament bulb. Take it to a motor factors and they will be able to give you an exact match.

Rich.
Connection to the ECU? Sounds a bit strange to me?? Never heard of that before, if both aren\'t working i would have thought it would be a fuse or the switch at the brake pedal. Might be wrong would be interesting to find out if the brakes are connected to the ecu!?
cheers
Donato
Hi changed one on sunday.
Got mine from Halfrauds they where £2.00 had em in stock
ok, its maybe me being dumb, but marc siad something about a connection into the ecu, maybe at the ecu? he\'ll be sorting it as it was working when it went into the garage.
he also mentioned the brake pedal bit too.
i\'ll update tomorrow when he\'s sorted it
