Got a 1st gen s3 recently back on road. Looking to start on a few upgrades. Planning to begin with getting that big blue air filter off and putting on something a bit more up to date. Don\'t really know too much but is there a straight forward induction kit that i can easily put on without too much fuss.
I take it that this will help slightly with performance etc.

There\'s a few modders and upgraders on here that should be able to help. Shaun (shaunwil) runs a 13B engine on gas in his car whilst Mark (mpk490p) has done tremendous things on his Yellow Peril (see his project post in the 1st Gen Section).
Sadly I\'m a boring old git who only dreams in standard stock parts. Besides I\'ve 2 spare blue air filter housings stashed away - and what would I do with them then? Eh Eh (turns ear trumpet up a bit).
You might find it better for 1st Gen responses posting more or less everything in the \'1st Generation\' section, \'cos we all look in there more or less daily.
