Title: back box
Post by: g11ary on March 15, 2003, 09:52:52 AM
Guys,
Have had the twin racing beat back box off of my black car put on the
yellow one, so yellow car now has black engine, rear box, same no cat
mid pipe, only difference I can see is balck was single turbo, yellow
is twin. The noise from the yellow car now is almost as quiet as my
standard silver, how can this be, when the same exhaust was on the
black car it was 3-4 times louder. Totally confused.
:(

this might sound rubbish but i\'ll say it anyway.

the power pulses from the engine are muted with the turbo. easy to think of jonny boy racers with escorts, normaly asperated essa is loud. turbo one still with 4" tail pipe not as loud.. probably the big wide open turbo lets the pulses out easier than two smaller ones????????????????????????????????????????????????????
