I understand to register a car like an RX-7 in France you can\'t modify anything! Your best to get a later spec car since its going to be more reliable and have less wear and tear.

I was thinking to move to France but I would have leave my car registered in the UK if I wanted to drive it in France since it modified.

It\'s not a problem an modified RX7, the most important it\'s the VIN numbers which contain 17 digits = UK and European registration.
Now with internet it\'s easy to buy each parts(new or old) of RX7 from the world.
The most important it\'s just for the registration day by the authority.
