Pleased you like your RX-8,

The recomended oil is Dexilia 5W-30 however any 10W-40 or 10W-30 is fine as long as is says mineral on the can

There are 4 plugs and two different types, two are called Leading with an NGK number RE8 C-L and  the other two Spark Plugs are Trailing / NGK RE9 B-T.

Cant help with a spanner man where you are but I hope the rest helps,

Have fun out there:3gears-rh

Hi there,

A lot of us RX8 owners use Fuchs XTR 5w30 from Opie oils, Ive recently had a new Pettit Racing High flow Cat fitted by Trimar in Barnet which shouldnt be too far from you for all your servicing needs.

Cheers
James

Trimar Sports cars in Barnet would be fairly close to you and they\'re good.  0208 278 6666 I think is their number.  Search for TVR Centre or Trimar on google.

Hi & welcome Gofaster.

You may be interested in the a couple of regular meets (mainly RX8OC), which a few of us from \'these parts\' frequent.

First Wednesday of the month (this week, 5th), in Cobham, Surrey. (http://rx8ownersclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=26698)

Second Wednesday of the month (next week, 12th), in Barnet, North London. (http://rx8ownersclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=26569)

Essex, Last Thursday of the month. (http://rx8ownersclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=19195)

If you\'re interested in such things, there\'s also a track evening at Bedford Aerodrome (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58646) being organised by Casey (also a joint MRC/RX8OC/MoT venture) on Friday 28th August (4.30PM start).

Though these are primarily orgainsed by RX8 owners club, we\'re a friendly bunch and no reason why MRC RX8 (or *any* rotary) owners shouldn\'t turn up. A few of us are \'dual members\' and gain benefits from both clubs :)
