Just a quick one, where has everyone taken their switched live connection from for the Controller?

Dont really want to take another lead from the stereo as running 3 gauges off this already :2Confused

Don\'t suppose you could take picures of your install as you go? And let us know if it solves your boost problems? Have you seen the alternative install suggestions for the vac line? :) sorry, lots of questions cos I\'m a couple of steps behind you mods-wise!

oh erm well kind of got all the pipes in already lol... to be honest it\'s not difficult, i just dont want to look through 43meg of wiring diagrams on PDF to find another switched live lol so thought i\'d ask and be lazy :D:D

I\'ve pretty much solved the boost spike with the Apexi to be honest, i just think the Profec will be able to control it better and provide a smoother pattern

Not sure what you mean by alternative VAC line install? do you mean version 1 and 2?

Think I read on RX7club about not splicing in at the fuel regulator, but taking off somewhere else- haven\'t got links to hand because I\'m working away and just on iPhone rather than my computer

oh right, no deffo not doing that, i\'m tapping off the boost gauge already in the cabin, can\'t see this being a major issue to be honest, may slow the response by a couple of milliseconds but shouldn\'t make a difference

Oh and i\'ve now found the wire from the cigarette light so will be using the switched live off that :D:D bit tight to work in in the footwell but hey ho lol

lol, was about to say cig lighter, personally I tend to wire in a switch live so I can use that for several units. But that comes down to doing so many installs in the various cars I\'ve had, so always liked to have a seperate switched live, and a permanent live to use with nice fuse box seperators.

Lol yeah but i cba with all that really, the gauges take bugger all power so prob could have still used the stereo wiring but wanted a separate one for the Profec :)

Anyway, get off here Len and sort your turbo\'s out lol :D

Dude take it from the switched live from the ignition barrel. Although I wouldn\'t worry 2 much about it the load will be minimum

Already wired in to the cigarette lighter now Darren and all good and working, just need to tune it now which will now have to be after Rotorstock, so reverting back to the Apexi pfc for the time being :D
