Title: Mini Meet Yorkshire...
Post by: steve77964 on June 29, 2009, 08:23:03 PM
Was just posting up to see if there would be any interest at a mini meet one Sunday at a friends garage 5 mins from Selby

They have a dyno which would be available for use at £40 each and can put a bbq on and all sorts

The garage is called RMA Racing and i know Andy and his dad from my Supra days, good people!

if people fancy it then can we throw a few dates around for the next month or 2?

Cheers

Steve

Hi Pete,
Sounds good. Haven\'t decided a time yet, but it would be early to get down for around 9 to 9.30am on Saturday and get the car set up and cleaned.

What time did you have in mind and where would be convenient to meet ?

(i\'d be coming down the M1 starting at jct 40).

Chris

Pete,
Yup, I can call in and meet you in the services car park, (at that time of morning I guess it will not be too hard to notice a lonely RX) lol.

Any other guys from Yorkshire fancy joining us ?

We can confirm a time later this week.

Chris

Lets get RS out of the way then sort a date thats suitable for all. Steve have you got a link to the garage, what type of dyno have they?

Heading down the A1 myself on sat as its a shorter route from here, planning to be down there about 9.00 though.

Looking on t\'internet, Woodhall Services (post code S26 7XR) is between junctions 30 & 31 on the M1.
From Jct 40 (where I would join) that\'s about 45 minutes to get there.
Santa Pod is shown as 2 hrs 45 mins from jct 40, so for those wanting to drive at a reasonable speed (ie; not loose yr licence), and arrive at Santa Pod about 9.30, it would seem we would have to leave Woodhall between 7.15 to 7.30.
Sorry if the above is a bit nerdy.

What do you think guys ?

Other suggestions welcome.

Chris
