Title: After more power
Post by: rx7ben on June 26, 2009, 05:21:32 PM
Hey guys

Im on the hunt for more power without spending £0000. Im thinking of getting a fuel pump and new injectors but i have no idea witch ones i should go for. So thats where you lovely guys come in. Could you please push me in the right way of what products to get and from where.

At the mo i currently have Filter, Apexi pfc, inercooler,Exhaust with decat. So would the above give a good increase.

Cheers :mmmm

Getting a chipped ECU or Power FC would be best as it will unlock the potential of the current setup, don\'t forget to upgrade the ancilleries such as the fuel pump and radiator, most engines fail as the ancilleries can\'t cope with the extra load on them

Sorry, I meant power wise, since you say you want more power but haven\'t mentioned what you\'ve squeezed out of your current mods!

Hard to know what to say to you mate, has the PFC actually been mapped for the mods you are running? If not a quick session at one of the RX7 tuners will add horses, a fuel rail and larger injectors isn\'t going to help much without getting remapped to take advantage of them anyway

We will have a price on these next week.  They have to be ready as we are looking to run them on 2 cars at Rotorstock

The car has been mapped to suit the mods. I would allso have tweaked when fitting more mods.
