Post by: rei99 on June 25, 2009, 09:51:44 AM
Hi everyone :)
I\'ve a question in my mind from some time...
The relative not so longer life of and European/USA REW was increased in the 280hp revision with better factory cooling and other timigs or not?
If someone reads japanese or had worldwide info, know somthing?
Thanks a lot! :wave

Yes i know, I\'ve read the Long\'s book and it explain well the mods.
But the heart of the question is: pre restyling engine have 60.000miles or near of life. More or less from who had used it (with care or not).

The restyling, with all the enhances, is more reliable or not? If yes, how much?

Buy a restyling, is an advantage in term of engine life?

well yes a 99 spec should have better reliability and should last longer because of the cooling changes and enhancements.
But by how much no one can tell , some pre 99 spec cars have mileages over 100K, so depends how the car is maintained and driven
