Title: Ambient Air Temperature
Post by: B9 KLF on June 10, 2009, 09:28:37 PM
Seen a lot of posts about intake temps being so many degrees above ambient - but how do you know?

Thinking of getting an outside air sensor with gauge. Anybody used one and where does the sensor go?

think can get from halfords.. if im thinking right..
has a long wire with snesor on.. can put anywhere..
tho they break easy, not the wire but the unit (cheap and cheerful lol)
prob best to put sensor behind bumper where theres no flowing air and out of heat from engine and direct sunlight.
