On Sunday attended a track day for the Help For Heroes (http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/) charity.
It all took place at the Army tank training facility at Bovington camp.

Jut heard that over £10,000 was raised by this event:Thumbsup!
It was a good day, just a shame about the weather and the casualties, good that no-one was seriously hurt though.
Who\'s was the RX8 that had the off - are they / the car alright?
Si.
That was Will, he\'s fine and only damage was a bent bracket on his number plate. He was running semi slicks at the time and you may also have noticed that as his CAT had gone he was rather loud - measured at 108db!
In fact here\'s some on board from Graham\'s car, showing the spin

that weather is why i didn\'t go out for the first few hours after lunch - rain, conctrete, no tc and wooden sleepers / solid bollards meant it didn\'t seem sensible!
did Will just put the power down a bit early and then tank slap? Good that he and the car were ok. i know the marshalls weren\'t overly impressed with the volume, was a fair bit of talk about it! when you say his cat was \'gone\' was it removed or disintegrated?
Si.
Nice to hear you all had a good time :D
His high flow had broken up, you could hear bits rattling around in the back box now and then and could physically feel the reverberations sat behind the car.
Not sure quite why he span there it was a pretty straight section probably just hit standing water.
I saw the back step out slightly a few times whilst behind him but it seemed no biggy and he caught it easy enough.
So you joined up then Graham :Thumbsup!
I can tell you\'re laid up Nigel, still looking for a thread you havent replied to:Giggle
