whats up with my car people!!!! The car is a 1997 type rb with a power fc, front mount intercooler, oilcooler, blitz induction kit and dump valve, and a full exhaust and cat by pass!! in first it only holds about0.4 bar on first turo then no boost onthe second turbo. in second it holds about 0.8 on the first turbo then about 0.5 bar and most annoying alot of the time there is about 0.2 bar and it holds that until i let off the throttle and the sound it makes is lik booo!!!!!! what is the matter with my car???? its only done 30000mies
think that sounds ya waste gate, sounds like you got sticking wastegate at my guess... only a guess though as I know chuff hehe.. I\'d get it to a garage if ya can :(

Sounds like the Pre-Control actuator which diverts exhaust to the secondary. It could either be the actuator itself or it could be the solenoids that controol it.
In my own experience, you would rarely see a proper boost pattern in 1st and sometimes 2nd gear because it all happens so fast.
While driving along at about 30. Get into 3rd gear and stamp on the gas. Keep an eye on the boost and see what the pattern is like from start to finish.
This is the best way to see if you actually have a problem.

mines heading in next tuesday for 2nd boost issue..issues :-( although i have been emailing back and forth with Pip to see if he can shed any light on my difficulties.
Not sure if your faults similar to mine (Bobster, any ideas??), but it\'s not running that great...initial diagnositics said \'solenoid fault\'...but i reckon there\'s more to it than that..unfortuately..any comments bobster, excluded the red light??!!!!
