Title: MSD direct ignition instalation
Post by: jacekr35 on June 06, 2009, 04:22:34 PM
I am going to istall the MSD direct ignition in my 1980 RX7
There are some instructions regarding MSD inst. in post 1980 models ( igniters on distributor) but nothing about 1980 with separate box with igniters.
If someone can explain the differences or supply the instruction it would be great. :god

Here\'s an MSD diagram I just got from rx7club.com in US. Looks like a tacho input controls it all. Where does tacho signal come from? - Distributor Pick-Ups? Thinking aloud here guys- haven\'t a clue.
You can have 1 box or 2? The Yanks seem to say 1 box is adequate.
I don\'t know anything about this kit but there seems to be a lot of info on the US site.
Hope this helps.
David.
