I read the pfc faq about adjusting ignition timing and fuel correction for running on 95 octane fuel.
I decreased IGN corr to -7 as said in the faq, then increased INJ corr a couple of steps.
I did not notice any change in running (this was on cold engine) and when
accellerated warmup was finished after a couple of minutes the engine suddenly started to limp as "running on 2 cylinders;)".
Or it just happened to coincide when acc wamup was complete, i don\'t know.
I quickly turned off engine and ignition, tried a while later and it still "limps".
The corrections in pfc are reset after power off, so it\'s not that.
The engine was only running maybe 5minutes in total and i have no problems starting it again, it just won\'t idle..
happy happy joy joy..
nothing wrong with my engine, just pfc was ....ed up. I reset settings and relearned idle, now it runs as it should.
Lots of black smoke and exhaust bangs for a minute after that, then it cleared off, and now everything is a-ok.
So there seems to be som bugs in my pfc as even a power off and disconnected battery those temporary settings did not go away even if they were zeroed out on the display.
How far away is a tuner ?? Would be a good idea to get the car tuned on the pfc. The base map is good up to a point with some small modifications on fuel.
Where was the FAQ that told you to adjust the pfc ??

I don\'t drive much at all, and i am going to map it really soon.
Please make sure if you are reading FAQ they are off rotary forums. Its a completely different animal to a piston engine and can end in some serious headaches and engine failures !!!
