Title: New owner of one of these little monsters..
Post by: pictonroad on June 05, 2009, 10:14:32 AM
Morning All, :WaveBye

Just bought one of these on a bit of a whim....  Curious car, fabulous looking, even the Mrs likes it!  Very small too, nice and compact.  I like the noise it makes and the way it goes too:3gears-rh

Can\'t say I\'m impressed with the blind person with no thumbs I assume must have put the interior together though...

Anyway, it\'s too low at the moment and I can\'t even get it to my house so it\'s getting coilovers, some new wheels and a complete check out at Reworx very soon.

Bonnet doesn\'t fit either.... lol

Anyway, Hi, I\'ll be round here seeking advice.

Cheers,

James

Yeah mine was low when I got it, could hardly put my foot under the front splitter. But it definitely looked cool.

Nice looking car you have there.

Have fun out there.

Yeh, it looks cool, I\'ve had a lower E30 BM than that and a VW that couldn\'t get over a fag packet but it was when I took a detour round Henley and ended up pushing all the stones from the middle of the road along that I thought maybe raising it might help......  lol

There\'s a white FD at the end of my road, usually under cover but I notice the cover has come off this week, common as muck!

I wasn\'t expecting much and I think mine\'s had a hard life!

I shall remedy it slowly.

Yeah, the paint on the plastics does tend to peel and form some kid of mutation on it.  But a little sanding painting etc and it can be as you like.  car does look good that low, but impractical.. Good luck

Nice looking motor bud.
I know what you mean about hight, mine\'s similar and i manged to run over a 1/2 brick some little scrotes had thrown on the road, put a ruddy great dent in the sump as the brick got stuck and i ended up dragging it about 400 feet before i could pull over.

Lovely looking car mate, I had issues being to low (ripped out my front wheel arch) lol

The interior can be updated a bit, I did mine up some,
