Has anyone got a spare clip that that bonnet stay sits in when the bonnet is closed? Really could do with one.

No the bit that hold the bonnet up (bonnet stay) sits in a plastic clip when the bonnet is closed. The plastic clip is the bit I need.
Mines broke too. I wonder if a standard Mazda part may fit - one that\'s readily available ?
dunno. Keep meaning to pick one up in the local scrappy but I either forget or can\'t find one that looks like it\'ll fit.
I havent got one either now you mention it, though they do stay in place ok anyhow.
i need on too. The bonnet doesn\'t sound right when you close it.

Think it must be a common item that breaks. Both of my FC\'s have lost them. My road going FC did have one when I bought it though.
i got one.. my original one broke so i got it off benlewismays fc when i visited him last yr.
now i got cf hood and bonnet dampers.. i dunt use the stick to hold the hood up..
ok.. so at least 3 ppl want it..

off the top of my head i would say not alot as i can\'t remember the price and i would have done if it would have been high, It was white though not black as per original.
The one that broke on mine was white. But I did notice the Cab I was looking at today had a black one. Strange!

Gas pipe clips might work - for the microbore stuff - might see if I can get a bag of them from B&Q if the look right

I will bring one of these or even two if i can find them to RS for you chaps. I have bonnet dampers so dont use them any more. Free to who ever collars me first but originator of the thread will always get 1st choice.
