Title: Need insurance recomendation please :)
Post by: dave-izzle on June 04, 2009, 02:20:13 PM
I\'ve just got my renewal through from admiral for my FD and they want £2079 fully comp, which is giving me nightmares!

I\'m 20 years old,
3 years NCB
no convictions etc

surely I can get cheaper than 2 grand?!

I doubt you will see much less than 2 grand in your name.
Try Elephant... but don\'t set your hopes on getting less than 2 grand... if you do consider it a bonus

lads, i keep seeing quotes for way lower than i can get when i search.
i will be living in Liverpool, 22 yrs old & 2 ncb. i looked into changing my irish driving licence to an english one but as i will be a student, it cant be done.
All the quotes so far are over 3K and any mods at all and its over 5k.
id love a rex but not that much!

Wow thats insane for insureance I was quoted £1110 via flux and i had 4 years ncb and 0 points now i got an extra year still not got my car yet but many people keep telling me try elephant or sky insureance You may find a better quote phoning directly with a reg plate number to hand at the time. Sky insureance offer mods I know that much.

Sorry to Tag on to this Thread, but I just like to say that Sky Insurance, who Insure my RX8 will also be Insuring my Saab 9-3 once I have bought it next Month :)

I am having Mirror Insurance,so its only going to cost £376.76 fully Comp & for 12,000 Miles a year :D ,the RX8 is costing me £400 for this year, but will change the terms next year & cover the RX8 for about 6,000 miles a year, which will bring the Insurance down :)

I must say I can`t fault Sky Insurance & hope to be with them for quite a while :D
