Probably a classic question..
Any know of a solvent that\'ll lift the old rubbery coating off the pre95? dashes.. i\'m bored of the scratched look :P
acetone i believe works well, just buy the cheapest nail varnish remover you can find with acetone (or something similar) and use that. Do it out side otherwise you get very light headed
sounds like an incentive to do it inside :D
lol, gave me a head ache but was great fun tho. Even when i fell over the dog cause i was too dizzy!
you can buy near enough undiluted acetone on eBay.
i gave mine a good rub down with a coarse cloth soaked in it (it gets really cold and made my fingers go numb!) and then a quick sand with a few different grades.

i read somewhere that acetone is linked to cancer ,so wear rubber gloves.

i think you need to get a woman lol:rollin
I think you should just flock it instead....
And Im sure Chris\', formally known as SweetieWells, OH can do this for you....her work is truely brilliant!
Not sure whether she will be allowed to fly though given her current state lol
wipe thinners over it and it peels off. But don\'t leave it on there as it will melt it . Then try wrapping it in carbon fibre fabric.

They will last about 30 seconds matey as acetone will melt the gloves ;)
Marigolds might stand up to it a little longer mind!
