Just been doing bit of reading and im wondering.. what year MX5 diffs fit FC3S and is it the whole diff like stright swap?
Plan is my local scrappy has few MX5s so was going to get MX5 diff and get it welded and some solid mounts then put it in my FC...
Cheers Nick
why not just weld the diff thats in the car
My FC is currently my daily drive..

read that ^^
I dont understand your logic. Why weld a 1.5 way? It would be better to weld the standard diff, and use the 1.5 way for road use. TBH welded diffs arn\'t a problem with daily drives. I was in a bmw with a welder not two days ago and i couldn\'t even tell.
If you have an egi you shouldn\'t have a problem with it going sideways when you don\'t want it too, the rear doesn\'t come out too easily with just power.
Think you\'ve misunderstood not fussed about having welded diff in while im driving it daily..
All I was going to do is get another open diff and weld it up and then replace the open diff in my car so my FC is not in bits while the diff is welded....
Reason i was asking about MX5 diffs as FC diff are few and far between, well from what I can find… lol
I have a welded FD diff if you want it. Might be too far to come and collect it though?
This is where my Mazda knowledge lets me down... Will FD diffs go in FC just from the pictures I’ve seen there every different?
FD diff with go into a TII diff casing
Arh well.. Anyone have EGI open diff?
So... MX5 Open diffs fit casing the lot stright swap?
i believe so, though i cant guarantee this
