Title: wheel size.. AGAIN! sorry...
Post by: L18M on May 28, 2009, 01:22:48 AM
looking at furbs fc. his rims sit real nice within the stock arches.
his wheels are:

front: 8.5j 18" et25
rear: 9.5j 18" et 25
(from memory)

will the following fit the fc?
9.5j 18" et30 (front and rear)

not sure if the wheels will be too close to the suspension parts on the front and rears.

cheers =)

why not get a 5 mm spacer to make them et 25? we know 9.5j et 25\'s fit.

my wheels are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5, both et35, if you wanted to try them on yours when you get it back to see if they fit and how they sit then i could pop round :Thumbsup!

Sorry but you have to apply the one and only rule when buying silly sized/offset wheels - buy now, figure out how on earth to make them fit later. :D

i think you\'ll struggle to get a 9.5 25et on the front.
Also you\'ll need different offsets front and back as the rear hubs sit slightly further inside the areches than the front
