Hello,
I would be very glad if someone have some info on ECU pin out on Japan Rx7 1999. I just need to know where is the speed signal that goes to the ECU.
I find some post that are talking about green/red wire, but I dont have it.
Does someone have manual for 1999 Rx7... probably japan.... doesnt matter.
Or if somone buy HKS SLD type 1 and got instruction manual (doesnt mather if it is written in japanese), if is it possible to copy that and send me? It must be written there where the speed signal goes to ECU.
I would be very glad!
Thanks for your help :god
93-95 wont be anydiffent to 99 with regards to speed sensor wires i dont reckon.

Thanks for the tip.... I will look as soon as posible, but as I remember I have only 3 conectors on the ECU... and my ECU is 16bit (I dont know if this change anything or not).
if all esle fails take the feed for the speedo from behind the clocks. use your kmh to mph converter as reference for the correct wire. usually its the yellow wire from the speed converter chip that goes to the speed signal coming from gearbox. so that should narrow it down a bit for you :D
thats what i did with my boost controller/speed meter and it worked spot on
So you are talking to trace the wire from speed gauge to the ecu?
I dont have the speedo converter, I live in Slovenia which has km/h and I also have Mazdaspeed 300km/h gauge.
I am just curious... the speed signal cames form the speed sensor in the transmissin. Then the signal goes to ECU and then to gauge or goes to the ECU and gauge simultaneously?
Thanks!
i cant answer that one as i dont really know lol. all i know is that when i needed a speed signal for my meters i just tapped in behind the clocks.
i\'ll have a look at my clocks for you tomorrow as my dash is out and tell you which wire you need.
