Title: I may regret this forever, but my cars up for sale!!
Post by: Habanos on May 17, 2009, 11:55:01 AM
Hi all,

After much deliberation I have decided to put my pride and joy up for sale. The link for piston Heads is below, appologies if I shouldn\'t be posting this in here. Will post in the "For Sale" section also.

As the ad says, I now have a 6 month old baby and on VERY rare chance I do get to go out in it, I\'d like to go out as a family so I\'ll be moving onto a proper 4 seater, possibly a convertible ( sad I know ) As you\'ll all know Rex\'s aren\'t baby freindly. Plus I want to sell the car whilst everything is in working order.

Any questions please feel free to ask.

Good luck with the sale,

Whilst people will look at the car and feel it\'s a lot of money, it\'s not when you consider this FD is one of a very small handful of "as new cars" in the U/K,

If I had the money I would buy this car without even looking at it before hand, somone is going to end up with one very special FD,

Thanks for your comments Clive.

As you say it is "top end" money but I honestly belive it\'s worth it.

I second that!! I remember looking at this car when Newera had it on their website - I\'ve still got the original PDF document with all the details!!

If I didn\'t already have one, I\'d but this - honestly. To me it\'s definitely worth what you\'re asking for it.

Good luck with the sale.

Hi all,

Well the car is now sold, the new owner picked it up today. A nice bloke called John from Nottingham who has recently joined MRC ( not sure what his U/N is ) but I\'m sure he\'ll introduce himself soon. Enjoy the car John, you\'ve got yourself a great car ( even if I do say so myself )

I\'d like to say thanks to everyone for your help over the last 2 and a half years. A special thanks goes to Clive, who has always been more than helpful with my questions and purchases.

Without wanting to get all nostalgic, I just wanted to say that my FD has been the best car I have ever owned, by a country mile! All the things I ever wanted in a car ( looks, performace, uniqueness, rear wheel drive ...... ) It has never let me down and has been faultless throughout my ownership. I\'d also like to say a belated thanks to Miguel @ Newera for sourcing the car for me initially.

I\'m moving onto to other things, a proper 2+2 so we can go out as a family on those "rare occaisions" but I dare say that one day I\'ll be back. Until then, I\'d like to say goodbye and I will no doubt see you again at the various Jap shows over the coming months.
