does anybody know how long do they last for as im not renewing my policy for a while and have 5 years ncd

They definitely stand for 12 months, as I\'ve done that myself. It may be up to two years but I can\'t remember... Just give your insurance company a bell and they\'ll confirm.

It\'s 2 years in most cases, although probably varies from company to company.

NCB are only valid for 2 years without being a named driver on a policy. Most will give you a month or 2 to be out dependant on risk and some will let it run for 3years again dependant on risk. (Norwich Union and AXA are all i can find that allow this 3 year thing -
