Title: Rolling road results - what do you think?
Post by: suba on May 11, 2009, 01:41:58 PM
The car is an FD3 running stock twins with uprated cooling and exhaust + apexi power FC.

Boost was 0.8 bar with injectors at 85%, fuelling was mid to low 11\'s with a small spike to 12 when the turbo\'s crossed over.

Does this look pretty normal to you guys?

very good for almost stock car 75hp more then stock levels with only a tiny increase in boost

I think was around 290 or so - will check later.

Does it look like the turbos are crossing over as they should with the dip and then pickup in torque?  Maybe I\'m just getting used to the car (my first FD3) and sensing when this happens more on the road...only change I made was adding a boost controller and boost gauge before the RR - previously the Apexi was controling the boost and it felt like it was spiking a bit.

I\'m very impressed with the twin turbo setup - compared to similar turbo piston engined cars I have owned and tuned there is almost no lag at all, with the full benefit of a 5K kick in the back of a big turbo!

has anyone on here upgraded the stock twins to turbos of similar spec to get more of the same with the early spool?:yes
