Title: Tyre pressures

Hello I have a 1997 Type RS and it has R18 235/40 - front and R18 265/35 rear...

Any ideas on pressures ????

I drive pretty smoothly ... i dont brake hard or try to go round corners at mach one .... car only used on crappy british roads

I would run 30 all round then and then check wear on the tyres.  If the centres are wearing unevenly too much pressure, and visa-versa
 
Pressures aren\'t critical to have tolerances of 1psi with the way you are driving.  It is down to feel.

ok thanks for that .... it had 29 on the from and 32 on the back and felt a bit strange like that

Usually mine are 28 front and 30 rear but after some spirited driving they are more like 32 and 34, so dependent of driving style.

For a lap of the ring I\'d have 24-26 front and 26-28 rear when cold.
