Post by: Abe130 on May 01, 2009, 10:23:59 AM
Hi Guys, You may/may not remember me. I bought the Candy Red Veilside kitted RX7 that was for sale on here last year.

Anyways there were serious problems with the car and as a result I sold the car on (Have no idea where it is now I think it wend down to london)

Well I currently Drive a Glanza V and may be selling it soon for £3k and was wondering weather there were any bargains to be had out there at the min, I have seen this one does anybody know a rough history of this one?

^^^^ double check the compression test results and that\'s worth 3k of anyone\'s money I reckons! Needs a bit of a tidy up externally...... but then again so does mine!
Good luck #;o)

Got a lot of RE:Worx receipts in one of those photos, which can only be a good thing...provided they\'re up to date? He seems quite honest in his speil, but must be myopic if those few mods are "the only ones I can see". The blatant and horrible VeilSide stylee spoiler you would think may be noticeable, as perhaps the rather nicer KnightSports (or copy) front bumper might be. Like Phil said, compression test is essential though

Yea, I am tempted to go have a look and run a compression test done on it. Would it be worth ringing RE:Worx and checking what has been done? I have been stung with a shed of an RX before and dont want it to happen again :(

Hi, I really only have whatever cash I get for my Glanza as I am not willing to get finance for a car.

Agreed.

I honestly think if your looking at spending 3k on a car, look for a different car mate. You will only end up with a car which will give you more problems again.

Unless your very lucky of course. You usually get what you pay for though im afraid mate.

There has been a candy red veilside kitted fd changing hands very quickly in the north east area recently. Think its seen three owners in less than 3 months so it may be your old one as something smells very fishy about it.

Yea, I bought it for £2,500 and put the engine in myself. I ran it for a couple of weeks before it developed an overheating problem and Died at the side of the road and covered the road in coolant. I sold it on the next week for £1700 and bought an MR2 Turbo, This was it:

The spoiler may have been replaced as it it had white marks on the edges where it had de-laminated. It also had a carbon bonnet.
