Title: Interior mod
Post by: Gavin_RX8 on April 28, 2009, 06:38:28 PM
Well, as the silver painted plastic that runs down the 2 sides of trans tunnel were scratched on the drivers side, decided they need repainting, never liked the silver anyway. I started to paint them, but the finish wasnt up to scratch. Then i realised i had a cheap Primark leather jacket in the cupboard that i will never wear as it was a gift that i really didnt like. So, got the scissors out, and a few hours and a can of spray glue later it looks like this

Also my gator cover was slighlty ripped so i took that to bits and made a new one following the same pattern. Thanks must go to the girlfriend for stitching it together for me :D Still have some leather left so wondering what else i could do....

Nice touch there... did you just stick it to the surface of remove the silver parts and wrap them?
