Thinking of exterior mods to your FD??

Why bother!! Just remember how great they look as clean standard. :)

It\'s only a matter of time before standard cars value starts heading back up ;)

Had a quick wash and wax this morning.

very true - \'bout the only thing I would consider replacing would be the wing mirrors - just seems to be something not quite right about the stock ones... :Hammer

Standard FDs look superb until you turnup at a meet and there are aftermarket bodied cars :-(

Guess this is like most cars though, only car I think looks better stock is the DC2 Integra.

Well done for keeping it like that mate. Was having a chat today with some guys saying how the standard cars will be worth more in years to come than the modified ones. Must be hard but dont change a thing as i know how clean your car is :DA guy with a standard 99 spec FD won best original car at Brooklands today :)

Hmm this is something that I have found, I have a mostly unmodified rx7, while my dad has a veliside fortune kit on his REX.

Allot of the time when ppl see pictures of our cars they prefer mine!

However if parked next to each other they stare at his and ignor mine LOL

In the process of getting a valuation for mine and while looking at book prices (CAP) my rex has increased in value by 9.5% over the last 2 months!

The used car market is recovering now and the price of everything is going up :)

Clive said he\'d value mine at around £500 less than I paid for it 3 years ago :) :) :)

I love the mirrors on an fd. Look loads better than aftermarket ones IMO.

Although mine is far from standard, i still have all the standard bits in the shed like front fogs, front splitter, Rear spoiler, rear splitter, airbox, battery tray, IC, downpipe, cat, backbox,  AC stuff, steering wheel.

Carbon rep of the standard 99 spec would do me.
