hi just thought id introduce my self, been lookin for an fd for a couple of months and thinking about getting one for 5 years, omfg it was hard to find one that seemed to tick all the box\'s. So far iv been to Burnley, Glasgow, Galishields, Manchester, surrey and Sussex not forgetting countless telephone calls and emails. The amount I wanted to spend changed from 3000 to 8000 (depending on the wifes mood), I had to spend a lot of time on this site looking at many posts (thanks for the advice), I even found a rex on this site and wanted to make a reasonable offer but do nt think the guy was really interested in selling it!!, any how I finally found one with lots of paper a descent owner in fairly good condition no smoke knocks or leaks. My god I have been in a few of these cars testing, but you got to say that every one I went in was bloody great even if it had clouds of white smoke coming out of it or "Yeh it has had a rebuild but I can\'t find the docs for it". what a great car, hope this one iv got is gonna be ok, drove it back from Surrey to Manchester and was fine and been driving it all weekend, there are some minor faults at the moment but hopefully wgt can sort it for me. Any how cheers for the posts, would not have gone and bought one with out them.:Laugh

the wife is keeping tabs on me as iv been spending all my time looking for the rex.. but im sure ill get out to some meets when i get a chance.. hopefully very soon..
