I\'m having a bit of an issue with the V band clamp on the Turbo-Downpipe joint, i bought two of them a while back but the first time you take it off the clamp must disform and it won\'t clamp solidly enough to 100% seal the joint.
Its kind of getting on my nerves, today i fixed the wastegate to downpipe joint because that was blowing and when i refitted it all the Downpipe starts blowing  So ideally i would like a really good quality clamp that works.
So does anyone have any ideas where i can get a good one or what type i\'m best off with??
This is the type (not the exact one) i am using http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/STAINLESS-3-V-BAND-FLANGE-CLAMP-KIT-TURBO-DUMP-EXHAUST_W0QQitemZ200335157544QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item200335157544&_trksid=p3286.m63.l1177
AHHH Cars!!!!!!!!
can you let me know the size you need and I will see what I have. These are quality aviation ones so you will not get any better. Just measure the smallest diameter bit and i will see what i have.
I think there 3"
That would be great.
If not AET turbo\'s have high quality ones on the shelf in 3inch diameter.
just send me your address by email and i will get one in the post, should have one your size, you can have it ,at least i can see if its what you want and suitable for future ref.
Thanks :Thumbs-up
You have mail :)
let me know if the ones I sent are any good please, if they are then just pay the postage. I have a few of those clamps but need to see if they get a good tight clamp around an exhaust flange.
