hi guys, just a quick qu.
Whats the PCD of the standard S5 wheels?
Also if anyone has an 16 inch FC wheels...how much :D
cheers
PCD is 114.3 x 5 :)
Sorry - don\'t have any wheels spare :(
cheers prof.
after some spares for ddddrrrifffftttuuuuuuu :D
how much you looking at paying ?
Nissan wheels fit although the centre bore is larger so make sure you do them up in opposites (excuse the spelling).
Used 300zx wheels as my daily ones and had s14 drift wheels
They are also a 40 offset as standard but will quite happily go to about a 30 offset on a 8.5J rim. A 25 offset will fit but then you start to pay more, the common sizes are a 35 offset which will be good on the right size width alloy.
I may have a set off TII alloys going for sale soon. Failing that there is a set on Ebay at the moment for £60 I think. Think they\'re Jimmy Hendrix\'s.
No idea on the price grinder, just looking for cheap wheels, and as standard ones are a good size i thought why not.

Hmm im thinking of buying something around an 8.5j for the fronts (and rears when its not drifting). And its all about the 25 offset, the wheels need to be sticking out with some nice stretch :D In case you havn\'t noticed i have very very specific tastes for wheels, stretch and slammage :D
ade, how much are you thinking for the wheels? Im only really wnating 2, but if your doing 4 for the right price....why not :D
thats the perfect size a 25 offset and 8.5J, fronts and rears will be just about flush, see Furbs thread as thats his size at present, you might get a better idea.
nice one :Thumbs-up
indeed...
8,5J front with offset 25mm will fit nicely within the stock fenders
i have 9,5J in the rear, also with 25mm offset
do the arches need to be rolled for 25 offset..?
what size rubber also? 8.5j and 9.5j
cheers..
sorry if its hijacking -.-\'\' but im sure is all useful related info :):)
no rolling needed...
i have 225/40R18 front and 255/35R18 rear
this is how it looks:

damn low and even on the track i have no rubbing at all.
i ride the car on the track and road with the same suspension specs, only slightly more front camber to reduce understeer.
but that will be fixed once i go over to semi-slicks ;)
i have to add...
for these sizes, settings and lowering you need aftermarket coilovers. not possible to fit wheels this size with stock springs...
awesome stuff.
pretty confused though. the width 255 is in mm right? thats like 10 inches, surely you want the tyres to have a smaller width than the wheels?
nice fc furb.. the new knightrider :P
wheels fit reli well :)
how come so dark inside?
blacked out side and rear glass?

rear wheel is 9,5J with the 255 tire. depending on type of tire it has more of a stretched look. if i use wider tires, i think it will rub the wheel arches

LOL not you as well... get that comment all the time :2Rolleyes
but thanks anyways!
it\'s tinted 35% all the way around :p
I have 35% tint on rear and side windows but the law just would not let me do that to the screen. Cool car.
here it is also illegal, but have been driving around like that for 4 years now without any problems...

yes but where the tyre makes contact inside the rim that is a narrower width. The 255 bit is the width of the surface in contact with the tarmac, also the more wider you go the more overhang you will have to protect the rim edges.
For the drifters they usually go narrower to get the stretch look.
