I think its on the 9th and 10th of May this year. Nostel Priory near wakefield is the normal venue.
Top day out and a good chance to catch up. Ive been the last two years and its a good start to the show season. More of a chilled out day with show and shine comps. No daft stunt shows etc, lol!
If I still have the \'7 (dont think I will by then) i\'ll bring her along, if not ill pop along in my bro\'s MX5 or take the new car :)

Stu excuse my ignorance (used search but didnt find it) wheres the gallery - time i took some pics now she has H1RXY plates on
Count me in for this show.
I\'ll be going to this, not too far from me. Did last years up North so that show will be my last til I come back from sunnier climates in July. (just in time for RS)
Does anyone know if we have an area for the RX\'s to park like last year at Nostel Priory, or is it one of those just turn up events ?
Chris

No idea bud, as far as i know it\'s all different clubs with stands, and everyone else has a separate area to park in. I\'ll be on the NipponSquad stand with the (dented) FD. If I spot yours i\'ll make an effort to say hi!

Oki Doki,
I\'ll look out for you. (Why dented FD) or is it one of those stories best told face to face ?

Have you been peeking at my LonelyHearts ad again??? :King :King
Thanks chaps, will see you there. You cant miss my car !!
Judging by what I have to do this weekend, I\'ll attend on Sunday.
See ya there.
Chris
I\'ll be up on Saturday for the weekend by the looks of it. As we are not officially having a Club stand anyone got a clue as to what we can tag onto? Just need to make sure that I can get the car near the other club stands. Last year was easy, just find a spot in the field !!
spent an enjoyable few hours here today, blustery but dry, plenty of nice motors to see, nice chatting & meeting a couple of mrc members (especialy for trotter doubled the number he has now met to 2 ).
we decided to enter "mazda section show & shine" turned out to be a small gathering (unlike mitsubishi/scoobies sections ):
trotter in his silver FD,me in the red FC, pete taylor in his stunning lambo orange FC (as nice in the flesh as in pictures), 2 RX8\'s,1 eunos,1 MX5 & a peculiar 2 seater mazda like a smart car rear engine & gull wings - no idea what it was.
hope stays fine tomorrow for those camping over.
Time to post the pics up on what was a really good show. I only attended the Saturday, put the tent up intending to stay but then had second thoughts as I have so much to do before I have to go abroad. Top team with Trotter and Pete with myself keeping up the rotary scene and nice to see a few Rx8\'s although I do not think they are members on here. The Rx8\'s actually won the show and shine in the Mazda section but being as they were only a few years old the could not quite see how the judges were marking as Pete\'s cab is totally original and immaculate but thats how it goes.
Anyway some pics to show what you lot missed and can not understand why more people did not attend. This show gets better and bigger every year so I think if it was sponsored by MRC for next year the uptake might be better.
Pete i cant understand how the 8\'s beat your car if you ever decide to sell let me have 1st dibs please much as i love my cabriolet yours is a dream motor.
good luck & hope you come back safe from your tour of duty in hell, thanks for showing me how to convert to targa top would never have found those catches.
T hope you make the connection from germany to edinburgh next friday even sober :evillaugh
Thanks pete, a few more pics that seemed to have got left out including yours.
Had to get one of that Toyota people carrier, had a 32" screen in the rear of the thing along with air suspension !!
nice pics, looks like a nice sunny day as well. if my car was on the road then i would of been there.
was going to come to this as I live in Lincoln but I over slept :(
Just a quick note to say thanks to Trotter and Pete Barber for making my visit to this show on Sunday an enjoyable one. Good company and pleasant conversation.
Turn out of RX\'s was worse on Sunday, Mazda show and shine included two MX5\'s (immaculate) and Trotters FD and mine. (Pete arrived later).
I agree, this meeting is very well supported by other clubs and with the bigger venue still has lots of scope to grow bigger.
May be we need to spread the word a bit more next year.
Chris
looks a lot busier than it was last year
cant believe that pete took the new cab and i didnt go :(
Quote from: dave-izzle;606676was going to come to this as I live in Lincoln but I over slept :(
What all weekend !! lol
it was definately far busier than last year and the venue is spot on,the grassed areas are better than my lawn but I was disspointed with the trade stands as they were minimal and not really worth bothering with (the Saturday anyway).
One to look out for next year if the venue stays the same which I hope it does.
I would have thought that we might have got some of the mid country rotaries in attendance but advertising and maybe an official MRC stand might just be in order to boost the numbers for next year.

Just a link to pretty much all the cars that were there.
Hey guys,
Apologies for the late reply but as Pete alluded to i\'d been sent to Germany for the last week!
Was a great weekend for all involved - the weather being nice def helped. It was good to meet a few of you guys finally, so big up to Pete T and Chris. Including Pete W\'s that was three stunning examples of rotaries - I felt a bit underdressed in mine!!
Fully agree that the mazda in general and rotary in particular turn-out was woeful, we should def try and get an MRC stand for next year methinks - we can\'t have these rally-rejects and Sky-buses etc taking all the glory!!! :D :D
