Which steering wheels are quick release for security, or are they all capable of doing this, just a special hub you fit??

Its a mazdaspeed carbon look dash.  I paid well over the knocker for it :(  i now get them a bit cheaper from japan and can supply them for 400 delivered.  Expensive but they are excellent quality.  I decided against it for my new project and had the dash sprayed gloss black, and it does not look anywhere near as good... :(

Cheers

Picture of my steering wheel for you.
Is a Momo apache and has a slight D shape to it. I\'m 6\'3" and it does slightly catch my legs when turning but i wouldnt of thought you\'d have trouble if your shorter. Is a comfortable wheel and i think really suits the car :)

If you get a quick-release item, it brings it away from the meaty thigh region...and, despite my reservations, the driving position is improved...can provide piccie of such--not expensive and very good quality. :Thumbs-up

I have a momo corse(330mm) with snap-off kit. Plenty of room to kick about.  Agree with Pete, driving position\'s been greatly improved after the snap-off kit fitted.
Smaller steering wheel + snap-off kit is the way to go if you are after more room   :cheers

Got me a MOMO Champion steering wheel.  Its 330mm in black leather and alcantara.  Cost about £150 6 year ago and has been an investment.  Been in the last 3 cars!!!

Catches the old knees a bit (and i\'m also short as fook!!!) and therefore need the boss extension.
