Thought i may as well post it in the right section,
Drives very nicely and not as slow as i thought it might be, the Borla exhaust system also sounds quite good too !!! also very practical as per little daughter\'s requirements.

Also the alloys that were on this rx8 are now up for sale:

usually dont like them but that looks cool :yes Mazdaspeed one?
You\'re almost as bad as me posting pics of your 8 every where :rollin .
Glad you\'re liking it and there not as slow as many people think and great in the corners. The borla zorst adds a nice bit of noise just not as loud as some of those 7s :p.
@Kieron think you\'ll find it\'s only the MazdaSpeed (well a replica) rear wing the nose is an ing and the side skirts are Velside if iirr.

Posted here as wasn\'t sure if the RX8 peeps would see it in the other section "members rides" :Giggle
Sides are Veilside, front is Ings as mentioned, considering a rear diffuser but not sure how much it would be noticed really as might be hidden away too much ??

Nope keeping as it, mainly for ride comfort plus the sides are quite low already so any lower and will catch on speed humps sadly :2eek
That\'s quite cheeky there! Very nice! What exhaust is that?

Exhaust system is Borla, nice deep sound without being too much to annoy

Yep just ask the first owner about the Prodrive Guys scrapping the sides sills on the high speed track :p .
Borla eh? Good choice, it is what I have on mine. Although with the lairy unsilcenced cat mine\'s really loud.
We can hear Will 2 blocks away:evillaugh

One of many Sean. :Giggle
Dont everyone shout at me at once but,
RX8 will be going to the new owner on saturday as taken a deposit for it an hour ago.
why ?
well the RX8 is absolutely brilliant, looks brill drives brill but for me is not raw enough, also i have noticed recently i am kinda losing interest in performance cars now and cant seem to settle down with any car in particular, so am considering one last hurrah in a tricked out FC but if i cant find one then its quite likely a normal car will be bought and that will be that :3gears-rh
Cant explain it really, just starting to get bored with cars very very quickly now :Tongue1
4 weeks thats got to be a record:rolleyes::Giggle

Nope the minty green Skyline lasted 3 days :Giggle
and i thought i was bad:Thumbsup!
Quote from: lee mills;609453and i thought i was bad:Thumbsup!
Well the Mint Skyline was a funny story as i bought it off a chap on GTR forum for £7200 on a sunday and then on the wednesday got a call from a chap from Ireland saying he wanted it and i had beaten him to it !!!!! Since i only bought it as a daily run around i said he could have it if he really wanted it as wasn\'t too bothered, he offered me £8200 so i couldn\'t refuse really :Laugh
fair enough its nice when it works like that. doesnt happen very often though
Quote from: lee mills;609463fair enough its nice when it works like that. doesnt happen very often though
nah was just lucky really, the chap from Ireland was a lovely bloke as well and has done some proper mods to the car now and has won some awards in Ireland with it :god
So good on him, sent me the money via banktransfer 4 weeks before coming to collect as he had asked on GTR.CO.UK if anyone knew me trust wise and got a glowing response :Laugh:o hence allowed me to take this picture: It was the only day i parked them both together as asking for trouble having 2 on the drive !!!
We\'ve chatted about this so you know my feelings Gurj. It\'s a shame but I understand why.
But don\'t sell those lovely alloys on ebay - I\'m sure someone at Rotorstock would love them on their 8.
What size are the alloys and how much are you looking for for them? I think they\'d look tip top on my Silver 8!

I believe they are exactly the same size as the standard ones and yes they would look great on your 8 Will. :yes
Bonus! Gurj, how much you wan\'?
:2eek Sad to see you selling it so soon but I guess if you\'re after something a bit rawer then after the 7s, skyliners etc you\'ve had the 8 will seem a bit tame. At least the 8 surpised you a little as to what a great car they are.
Quote from: Will66;609589Bonus! Gurj, how much you wan\'?
The new owner is taking both sets of alloys as is paying the right amount i wanted :yes
He will be joining MRC so will tell him to pop them back up on here if he wants to sell them :mmmm
What sort were they? I quite like the look of them maybe in a darker colour.

Which ones ?
The multi spoke ones are Kei Racing alloys the 5 spoke ones with the dish are Cruize alloys both in 19\'s
Will the ones that were on this RX-8 are these (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56867p://) Gurj changed them and was try to sell the old ones with no luck - he was thinking on ebaying them. I\'d have had them myself but I\'ve only just had mine replaced.
If you really want the alloys Will let me know as the new owner hasn\'t picked the car up yet but has taken those alloys after leaving £1000 deposit, so i can get in contact with him and see the plans for those alloys ?
