A potential buyer of my car wants a compression test done, and I\'d be interested in the results myself as I\'ve never done one.
For an import, where can I get this done? Will any Mazda dealer do it, or do I have to go to a specialist? If the latter, I don\'t think there is anyone within 2 hours drive of Newark/Notts unless anyone can suggest anywhere??

Andrew, I think WGT will be the closest to you. Mazda dealers should be able to do it reguardless of if its an import or not as no parts will be needed.

Last time I went to a Mazda dealer they wouldnt even sort me an oil filter and insisted they didnt want anything to do with RX7\'s as they wernt an RX7 approved dealer :rolleyes: .
They just gave me a number of another dealers. All for an oil filter, its hardly difficult but nevermind. Halfords managed it :p
You need some where with a proper rotary comp tester; NOT all Mazda dealers are going to have a Mazda rotary comp tester as they are fairly rare in the UK I think, and as Lee says, half Mazda dealers dont seem interested in any thing RX7...
