Just took the rx7 out for a little run and when I stopped, I popped the bonnet and found coolant somehow coming out of the top of the rad cap!?!
I don\'t mean where it joins the AST etc, I mean out of the actual top?! The label on top was all wet, pealing off etc.
New rad cap required!!
Anyone heard of this before?
yep, same situation for me, first the top broke off under pressure so had to cable tie it on and make an emergency trip to WGT to get another one, then in the afternoon i find that the seal on the cap is split and its ....ing water out while running, got home tonight and put a different one of a misti shogen with a spring bit in it to see if holds together

was a nightmare mate, im hoping tomorow is a better day as a 400bhp 300zx wants to take me on and im only standard, just hoping being 400kg lighter will save the day!
Just don\'t kill the car trying to beat the 300zx! LOL
