My rad from WGT(i believe its a radtec) has two fans on the back with a 2 wires coming from each of the fans with a connector on the end , Presume ones a feed and ones ground . But the old wires that went into the standard rads had 4 wires going in , which ones do i use (http://www.fduk.org/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif) Just the feed and ground ??? What controls the fans then ??
Cheers

Ooh, i remember having to wire up my fans many moons ago.
If you have a multimeter, use the probes and stick them in the holes of the 4 pinned sockets. Stick the voltmeter on volts - Black is usually a ground. Stick the air con on and figure out which one is the feed for the air con turning the fans on. Once that is done, you can wire this up to the fans. Now start the car and let it warm up, keeping an eye on your power FC Commander water temps. When this gets to the temp the ecu turns the fans on with, check the pins again for the 12 volt feed (Without air con on). Since you have the air con switch figured out, you have a safety check just in case you don\'t get it in time. This should allow you to get the 3 wires sorted: ground, air con feed, and ECU fan control.
