The narrowest you can find.
Bride is normaly the easiest way to go cause it\'s a garunteed fitment.
Trouble with anything else is even if you get them in they aren\'t straight with the pedals.

thanks tim. i understand there is a company (forgot the name) that make a mount for the FD to fit most seats. but as u said they still need to be thin.

Unfortuantely not all Brides go in either - I can tell you now that Zeta\'s won\'t go in (much to my utter dismay :()
Most of their old school recliners won\'t go in either.

The issues with the FD are twofold: The space between transmission tunnel and door car ar very small, and the tops of the door cards are quite close to the centre of the car.
This means that you need a seat with a narrow lower section and narrow shoulder supports in order to get it to fit, let alone a comfortable driving position.

my Brides are recliners, so that doesn\'t really help :(
I\'m pretty sure that the Vios\' fit, but not sure about any others I\'m afraid :(

IIRC the Sparco Evo\'s MAY fit (but don\'t quote me on that) and the Recaro speeds, as above.
I think there\'s a list on Rx7club :)

Zeta III WILL NOT fit without serious modification of door card and/or seat, so I\'d be dubious of that list :(

Being able to get them in the car and actualy fitting is completely deifferent, my car came with a sparco seat in. It rubbed the door card as a result the seat was too far to the right it used to cause pain in my knees using the clutch and brake (knees don\'t bend left).
It\'s costly mistake to buy a seat that ruins the car for you.

thanks for the reponse iv found this site http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/sparco-seats-sprint-bucket-seats-p-522.html

and with the sprints being so cheap for a pair. it would be hard to go Wrong. has anyone had any issues with the sparco sprints and does anyone have any recomendation on what rails to use. as this web site doesnt seem to have a rail for the FD.
