Title: Really quick question
Post by: neil_jdmr on April 09, 2009, 11:06:25 AM
Need to reconnect my airpump for an afternoon, everything is still in place including pulley/pump etc its just been unplugged.

Is it the grey, two wire plug with the orange internals that sits on the top of the air pump?

Thanks

Neil

Got a queer idle yesterday after being sat in traffic for a while so gonna reconnect it to see if it makes the difference as i read you had a similar thing also i fancy setting a flames/popping fest for the summer.

Yep, when disconnected my idle would drop down to a few hundred rpm, somes time it would actually die, but then it would level itself out. I just adjusted the idle screw so that it would idle just shy of 1000 rpm and it solved it. But for flames/ popping you cant beat the air pump. Hit the rev limited a couple of times and the world behind you goes orange, love it lol.

Woo Hoo and its a welcome return of the flames, loving it just a slight back off the throttle over 6k and it popping and crackling like a good-un.

Love it
