Title: FC Motorsports Electric cutoff... URGENT
Post by: FlikstRR on April 09, 2009, 10:47:04 AM
ok.. I thought I had this covered but im in a hefty state of panic now..

I have one day left to get the FC to the spec of the drifting championship series \'BDC\'.. the LAST thing on my long ass list for the car  (of which I have build with help in  just over 5 weeks!) is the stupid Electrical cuttoff switch! :2Mad:2Mad

Right. All pull cables are in and ready, a key bracket/mount is  being done its the specific wiring I need sorted.. and fast!

I\'m a retard when it comes to electric so no responses like:

"its easy feed one side to the positronic data hyperfuxor to the altenator then back to the key via the somoflex capasitor.. obviously"

were talking IDIOTS GUIDE!!
this wire goes to here (pic) thenget a wire to go from this side of key here (pic) to this (pic).  Finally cut into your ignition here (pic)...

get what I mean??:evillaugh

I have to attack this tonight, so any help is great. cheers

It\'s some sort of vacuum storage for the either the emissions system or the fuel pressure regulator PRC circuit.  It was disconnected on Mitch\'s car and didn\'t seem to alter operation of the car - I\'ve eliminated all that stuff anyways - I think you can remove it.

Yes you can remove this and its only found on UK cars. I have no emissions and all the vac stuff has gone.  Any tappings I need are straight off the manifold.

Thing is if in doubt then leave it alone for now. Any unused vac needs to be plugged.
