got the car back today from WGT..alls good and running sweet...give my brother a rip in the car ,ten mins later he comes back with the car sounding like a tractor/blowout from exhaust..
excuse my technical terms here, is im not that clued up on engines........
investigated the engine to find that the pipe that leads from the turbo to the exhaust had snapped off completely...now i know ive an engine mount busted so i led it to that happenin after he gave it some abuse.causing it to snap off.
im running a T04z with external wastegate...can this be welded back on OR can i buy a replacement housing to bolt things back together???car is still boosting fine a running ok apart from sounding like a tractor..
what do you guys think?

was thinking that would be a good idea...tbh it looks like i would need to replace rather than weld i hope not...can i buy this section of the Turbo?

That must be weldable? Strange for it to snap there and probably poor welding to begin with. Is it a clean break or is it torn as depending on the damage it might be worth your while in getting that sleeve and starting again with some good strong welds.
