The FB oracle in the North sent me the maintenance guide from Classics Magazine in 2002. (Thanks David) The other is from Classic Cars 1998 from my cuttings file. I seem to remember a CC or T&CC buying guide that featured Dave Collins\' car too but it obviously evaded my scalpel when I shredded huge piles of magazines I\'d been hoarding for years. Embarrassed to note that the second part of the Classic Cars piece is missing. (There\'s a prompt to got to page 120 for more detail but I missed it.)
All three will fit an A4 page, the text will print small but well enough to read.
Does anyone have any more?

No specifics - apart from knowing what to look for. I dare say the information is all buried on here somewhere but an impromptu library of articles would make a useful short cut for anyone who might be looking for a crash course in the knowledge. As I remember it the one I saw with your car in was fairly comprehensive with all the key buying guide "need to know" stuff highlighted... not that yours was exhibiting any of the usual traits!
Was shocked to see how easily FB\'s get consigned to scrap and the more I looked the better I liked them - which is not something I could say about a TR7 for example, yet one of those could be easily rescued with repro/pattern parts and panels. I suppose part of me wondered if more exposure/readily available info might win the FB a few extra fans and fewer appointments with the crusher.
