Hi clive thanks for the welcome.

Oh and I forgot to mention about the couple of modifications we\'ve done.

The mazdaspeed rear spoiler and the front aero where on when we got it.

Added full aero kit, front and rear grills, borla exhaust, k&n filter, led side & fog lights and led daytime lights, carbon fibre eyebrows mirrors and b pillars, ultralite atec II wheels, yellow calipers and a short shifter.
Going into Mazda on Wednesday to have a new clutch and hopefully MRP will have a lightened flywheel for me to have fitted then too but it\'s somewhere betwen califonia and kent ATM!
Then it\'s off to rotechnics on Thursday for a high flow cat and a racing beat revi ram to be fitted.

Saw this car at the last tunnel run (I was in the black rx7 when we initially met up on the M1).  Have to say I really like the yellow detailing on the wheels!

Welcome to the club.

Good to see so many rx8 owners joining up now.
I pass so many on the roads and wonder if they know what my car is or the relationship they have to it with theirs

Really! That does surprise me as there\'s loads around here.
I only live a couple of miles from the local Mazda dealers so pass them almost everyday too.

Along with other people including Sean, my  personal thoughts are that there is nothing wrong belonging to multiple Rotary clubs as each will offer something slightly different along the way, indeed I have long tried to dissuade people from any "them and us persuasion" in any direction because if you’re an enthusiast being part of more than one club can help you gain the maximum from your interest in "our" cars.

Personally I may have founded MRC but I have been out on many events with FDUK over the years and whilst I don\'t find the time to post there these days I am still one of their original members, also I am a member of the RX0C as well and in particular have enjoyed some of their "road runs" with them as well :Giggle,

Aside from a few individuals who wish to play in the corner by themselves, which is their right to do so,  I have long harboured the fact that jointly we have a good Rotary community, regardless of club persuasion, indeed providing people who attend have no problem with MRC, all are welcome at the two events we hold for our Rotary community, with one being the Spring Rotor Show and the other being Rotorstock.

Good point well made clive and i totally agree that every forum can offer something different. Each has their own ways of answering questions and also the level of knowledge on particular models of rotaries.
MRC is a great alround club with some great people on here to have a laugh and joke with and i\'ve found the information i\'ve learnt over the years on here amazing and invaluble. The shows are great too :D
FDUK is also a good laugh and totally bonkers at times but has a different way of looking at the image of the cars and the scene we are in.
Yes there are others that \'Play in the corner by themselves\' as you say clive but there too you can also learn and gain specilist knowledge if needed if not already on here or elsewhere.
I do feel its a shame we cant all get on as we\'re all after the same thing at the end of the day (the enjoyment of our cars) but the scene is always growing and it human nature that not everyone is going to get along with everyone else.
What ever the problem, question or advice you may need you will find it somewhere and thats what i love about this scene :D
Just my opinion anyway :D
