Fitted my new resistors as not to fry in ecu/ inectors, im gettin fuel presure 40psi, the engine is turning over, no sign of starting. did this for a few minutes. took the plugs out and thy are not wet (no fuel). Also on cranking there was no cycle duty at all.????????. If there was no spark surely he plugs would be saturated.
THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE RESISTORS, TOOK THEM OUT, STILL NO
JUICE ON THE SPARK PLUGS?
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I COULD CHECK,
Im thinking my injector drivers are screwed on the PFC.

If you have just put big 1680 injectors in then you will have to tell the ECU you have done this or you won\'t have any fuel injecting,
BTW, I never use the resistors.
The pfc setting wont let the secondarys go up to 1600 on the hand controller.
The primarys are standard though Clive and it ran and started before.
I have re tried this with resistors and without since getting the car back. the injectors are 1600s. no cycle duty, dry plugs, fuel pump is whirring away, 40psi,
Can you confirm dry plugs mean no fuel. Its not even popping or trying to start. with or without these resistors.
stumped.
The only other thing i have done is rewire the dodgy crank sensors. im sure i did this the right way.
surely the primarys would still fire and start the car up?
A fuse? ? ? ? ?
During cranking and starting you would only be using the primary injectors yes (Also, I\'m with Clive: I don\'t use resistors on the 1680s - you can set the secondaries to 1500cc on the commander)
I would use resistors - as i said on your other thread, I asked Pip, whpo was mapping hte car, if they were needed, and he indicated quite strongly that it was a good idea. The map he then created seems very good, no issues with switchover whatsoever.
My betting is you\'ve blown a fuse/relay.
AFAIK you won\'t be using the secondaries on idle/starting, so can\'t see it being that.
Do a sensor check on the PFC.
I have done the sensor check & it\'s only the PAC & the one underneath it, i think it\'s CCN. I\'ll check the fuses tomorrow. Still not sure whether to use these resistors i\'ve bought or not.
Is there a fuse for the fuel injectors? I\'m asking becuase none of the large fuses in the engine bay have blown. Is there one in the footwell?
just need fuel now, as i say only those 2 sensors on the pfc
No duty cycle normally means no crank signal.
Are you getting rpm displaying during cranking?
I suspect the crank sensor re-wire you did.
There\'s no cycle duty and no rpm from what i can remember. I will check tomorrow again, it was the only thing i changed aoprt fron the resistors. Thanks guys
yep crank angle sensors i say nothing to do with secondaries or resistors, once you got the car running try it with and without resistors, you will notice a difference

one of the crank plugs wasnt in properly, i got it started. i just need to do a more permanent fix tomorrow on them. I need to know now if the wires on the crank
sensors from left to right go
black green then yellow red???
I could really do with a new loom the one supplied with my new warrantied engine was and still is shot or at least that part with the sensor plugs. ive made my own plug setup and i need to make sure the wires are secure and in the right place. Cheers for your help so far lads
also noticed my sec injectors dont have a percentage after them on the pfc is this ok? the standard primarys have 100%
