Dont know what Pip recommeds you use, depends on your porting and boost levels and turbo. Probably anything one bar boost pressure or below just use the normal 9s all round.

right ok what about at 1.05 bar standard ports single tub, i have 9s all around now. want it right before its mapped next monday, whoo hooo

On standard ports dont worry about it you make be making that much power which generates the excess heat where you need expensive plugs like NGK 742 in heat ranges 10s and 11s.
So 9s all round will be fine

I\'m on the more expensive plugs. Seemed to need it after about 0.9bar.

Made some good figures at 1.05 to 1.1 bar on the GT3574. Went with pips big bore exhaust too, midpipe and silencer for trackday use. Ended up with 441bhp flywheel and 360ftlb Torque on stock ports :D

Are you running twin spark as well ?

im thinking 9s and 10s. what plugs are you running Shaun? im on stock ports with no twin spark hoping to get to 440 hp at 1,1. need teh right plugs to help me out here i think. i dont have WI either, will my 9s do? or am i best getting 2 tens to take with me and see what pip says?

I\'ve got the NGK racing plugs, 10 & 11\'s. Never had any foul up issues but the car hardly done many miles in the past 12 months.

It would be a question for pip really. I think you will struggle with 9\'s. Pip swapped to the racing plugs while I was on the stock twins at 1 bar to improve the spark.

What turbo are you running ???

Im running a hkst04r with .8 hotside .70 ar, kg rail with 1600s, kakimoto all the way through.

I dont have twinspark, i was thinking about my 9s * 2 and some 10s *2. I just want to get it right before im at pips as i know i can get cheaper spark plugs elsewhere than from him

id love 441 fwhp up from 330 on the twins, brand new engine too.

If you can get them cheaper then buy yourself a set. They will get used eventually and if they don\'t just flog them on at cost.

My GT3574 is a non roller turbo with a 0.84ar with a T4 footprint. I\'m running pips big bore exhaust system.

I would ask pip though before you go, he will probably tell you what you need.

I\'ve only gone from 380 to 441 fwhp beteen the twins and the single.

Have you any porting on the engine. Mine ran out of puff because it hadn\'t any porting.

Yes theres no porting but im going to be well chuffed with anything over 420, which is my target. i have a nice small hotside .84. so it should spool ok.

Wheres best to buy tens? ebay dont have much choice
