The TII ignition system is different completely - you\'d need the whole ingition setup including the seperate coil packs etc.

You\'re better off just getting some new coils for the Egi.

What makes you certain its the coils?

coils are the cheapest/easiest thing to fix so it IS the coils.

basically was on a drive and the rev counter started failing, like eaither dropping to idle or reading something rong, then this started having an affect on the engine to the point that the engine shut itself off, and i couldnt get it going again. Me and the AA man had a look through the haynes manual (how handy) and came to the concluision that the problem is either the coils or the pcb for the tack. I dont want to take the dash out so it much be the coils :D
