Title: FD Alternator on a 13bt
Post by: Archbish on March 24, 2009, 06:11:16 PM
I have a vague memory of this being a good idea, and fairly simple to do?  Just a few spacer washers on the back of the alternator mount, and job done.  Benefit is a stronger alternator.

sound reasonable, or a bad idea?  Discuss.

If you can get it to fit and it works giving you a better charge then surely its a good idea. But then what do i know:p

Bish,  on your first gen you dont have enough electric things to need a more powerful alternator.  You already have a much bigger one with the 13b T over the original 12a one.
